So you want to learn more about who the DesignHER Momma is.

I'm Emily, the DesignHER Momma. This is my website.

Some people call me an interior designer, but most days I find myself answering to "Momma". Life is good, I'm not complaining.

I graduated from a Big 10 school with a degree in Interior Design. Contrary to popular belief, I actually use my degree. I work from a home office which allows me to be creative in my pajamas while changing diapers blindfolded with one hand tied behind my back. I know, I know - pretty talented.

This is my man, Michael. He works for a big company where they make tiney tiny little pills. I'm pretty sure he wishes he was a rock star. We got married right after college and have been married ever since, despite his less than rock star status.

This is my almost 5 year old PK Lady. On a typical day she is my co-worker, I let her help me with concept sketches and picking out things like paint. She has pretty good taste.

This is my 2 year old "Birdie". We call her "Birdie" because she's very dainty and tiny.

We're living and growing up in Indianapolis, working on being the best urban dwellers we cab be. Currently we're a family of 4 - but that's all going to change this fall. Baby #3 is due to rrive on Thanksgiving day 2009.

Do you do reviews?
YES. I do most my reviews on Simple, which is simply the best review site on the internet. If you have a strong desire to see your product reviewed/featured on DesignHER Momma, (and you feel it would be a good fit for this blog) email me and we can talk.

Due to the large amount of request I get, I cannot always get back to you. And no, I probably will not review things that I have no use for or things that suck.

Do you sell ad space?
YES. Please email me at designhermomma (at) gmail.com and we can discuss rates. If you are a small business owner or Etsy artist, I'm exceptionally affordable.

Can I send you on fabulous trips to Disneyland or NYC?
YES. If you want to send me on all-expense paid trips I will gladly go and tell the world about how awesome it was. I guess...

So there you have it, DesignHER Momma in a nutshell. Please feel free to come here often and enjoy. This is my personal space - which I like to keep clean and happy. I've had many lurkers but not too many trolls -let's keep it that way, ok?
