Spring Break starts off with a bang...

...or more like a CRASH!!! That's right, I was driving in rush hour traffic just north of Nashville when we got rear-ended. Thankfully, the only thing that suffered any "boo-boo's" was the car. At least we were able to carry on our not-so-merry way, while the other guy had to get towed. Piper was a real trooper....we had to wait in the grassy median for over 2 hours for a cop to come, she never cried or fussed. We must have been a pretty funny sight, coloring on the side of the highway during rush-hour. Every time Piper see's the car, she says "Car got boo-boo, need big band-aid."

Second day of Spring, take you Christmas down...

Ok, so today is the second day of spring, it's nice and sunny, about 70 out....so if you still have Christmas decorations up this would be an ideal time to take a moment to put them away. This picture is from our neighbors house...they still have a wreath up, and christmas lights up around their garage. Who wants to bet that they will still be there at Easter? I mean, come on. I'm forgiving until about Valentines day....but not Easter. You know who you are....take the decorations down.

First day of spring!!

Are you not so excited and soooooo sick of winter? Today is officially the first day of Spring and I am so happy. Bring on the warm weather and the green grass. Our yard is full of things "popping up" as Piper puts it. Here is a snapshot of some of our Tulips....

Hot Rod for sale...

SS Rock Reunion....

We had a great time at the SS Rock Reunion last night. Michael played the bass, Piper only tried to crash the stage once, and she got to stay up WAY past her bedtime of 7:30. We think that the band should reunite for another tour....

Shotgun Shepherd concert this Saturday Night!!

Ok, if you have no plans for this Saturday night, I have something for you. Shotgun Shepherd is reuniting for one night only....this is a limited engagement. They will be doing a benifit concert at Northbeach for spring break mission trips. It's at 8pm, 3 bucks gets you in! See you there! let me know if you need more info...

What we've been up to.....

I know, it's been a long while since I've blogged....I thought I would update you on what we've been up to, which havn't really been much....

1. I've been growing into a true cow, I think I have 7 stomachs now....always hungry. This picture is of me at 24 weeks.
2. Got our patio furniture out, because did you know that it was 80 yesterday here in Indy? And yes, I lounged outside for a little while and got my first sunburned nose of the season.
3. Michael went to Germany last week for work.....brought back Piper's new best friend "Lotta".
4. Michael also felt the baby kick for the first time last night....the baby had a lot of engry after I had a huge dinner..
5. Piper went potty 2 times in her big girl potty, but really hasn't had much luck since.
6. Got a new car, a Pilot, making room for baby...

Here are a few things we need to accomplish soon:
1. Finish the basement, almost ready for the drywall.
2. Finish, I mean start Piper's big girl room....
3. MICHAEL NEEDS TO FINISH SCHOOL....although, I know that won't happen for another semester.

So, there's your Ellinghouse update...I'll try and be a better blogger here in the future.

Daddy's Boots...

Piper is feeling better, fully recovered from the flu and ready to play. I think she slept so much while sick that she stored it all up and is running on her reserve supply....no naps this week, not cool at all. Anyway, today she thought she was pretty hot stuff playing house with daddy's cowboy boots on.
