I was tagged this morning by Steph over At Adventures in Babywearing to share 5 random things about me. This is a perfect thing for me to write about, since I feel my life is about as random as it gets. Here are six random issues that consume my time.
1. I'm turning 30 this year and want to do something big. Thoughts are Vegas (but we don't gamble), and now my new favorite is an all-inclusive to Mexico, Jamaica or something cool like that. Sad to say, hubs and I have yet to even go on a weekend alone together without the kids since our honeymoon six years ago. I think it's time.
2. My new favorite local spot is The Flying Cupcake. If you see me there, tell me to put down the red velvet elvis. Thank you Casey for this new addiction. Sorry if I started one for you yesterday...
3. I joined the YMCA last week. I plan on trying to get in shape so I can wear a swimsuit (reference #1). Biggest obstacle, Flying Cupcake is en route (reference #2).
4. I've planted a little urban garden this Spring, my dog is peeing on all my pepper plants and killing them. I'm planning on selling the dog so I can buy new pepper plants.
5. Just finished the book Pretty is What Changes. It's a story about the breast cancer gene, has me thinking lots.
6. Lastly, Did you know that I'm giving away a $20 gift certificate to Starbucks? Oh yes I am.

YUM! I checked out the flying cupcake sight. I can't decide between the flying rumba and the cinnamon sugar. Both are right up my alley - although I have yet to meet a cupcake I would turn down!

Vacation plans sound great :-) We're going on our first trip since our honeymoon in June (to New Orleans) and it's our first time EVER leaving the kids anywhere else overnight - I'm getting so nervous about it! Thanks for sharing - the cupcakes sound scrumptious :-)

Great, I'll get right on it. And I think you should go to an all-inclusive resort. the sandals resorts in st. lucia are awesome...you should check them out!
