Summertime in ten.

I love hot, sweaty summertime. The laziness, the nothingness just draws me in like an ant to a picnic. The only thing that would make summer any sweeter would be if Oprah didn't run re-runs all season. Do you hear me Oprah? No re-run! In no particular order, here are my favorite June, July and August activities.

1. long days busy doing nothing
2. naked babies running wild in my backyard
3. refreshing drinks of the summertime nature
4. my garden - you should see it grow
5. spray parks!
6. the grill - in overtime.
7. justified ice cream
8. Michigan - not to be confused with Indiana (because there is a big difference)
9. free Festivals - I'll meet you at every single one in this circle city.
10. dirty feet

That's a perfect top 10. I wrote about what I disliked about Summer but your list is what I like about summer! (well, early summer anyway LOL)

if you love hot sweaty summers you would love it down here in mid july when it's topping over in the triple digits for more than 3 weeks at a time. you'd love your energy bill too!!

I love that you have a garden, and free festivals are the best, too!

I just commented on someone's blog about the "michiganlike" summer we have been having with the cool nights and perfectly warm days. I grew up there and just moved from there two years ago. We moved here in July and I was like what is up with it feeling like the pit of hell outside?????

Great list! Thanks for joining me. And hey now, why so sure to distance yourself from Indiana?! ;) I love the running of the naked babes.
