Just what you are looking for....a post about nothing really.
1. The winner of the Starbucks gift card is Jenny from Our Gifts from God. Thanks to everyone that switch their address to my new site. You all are such good friends.
2. I have a new giveaway over at Simple. A little hint....it's a dog gone good prize. Go enter please. And if you don't have a four legged friend at home, there are also some other great giveaways currently running.
3. I just read a book and didn't like it. Apparently it's a classic but I guess I'll stick to standard chick lit crud. Go read it if you like boring books that leave you feeling dark and depressed.
4. I have loved all the suggestions for workout music. I've gotten myself quite a play list....but I'm still taking suggestions. Now if I could just make it to the gym....
5. I'm going to see the Sex and the City movie tonight with 7 other girlfriends. They are probably all going to look hot and fashionable. I'll be looking schlumpy for sure. I plan to get there early enough so I don't have to sit in the front row and look at Sarah Jessica Parkers huge mole up close and personal all night.
6. A battle I've decided is not worth fighting.....a 3 year old and her sense of style. I give up, wear what you want my little diva.

Today it's been tank top, tights (without skirt or pants) and brown boots.

Love the fashion. When my oldest was that age she wore her winter boots the entire summer to daycare. She loved it..In her class another girl wore her moms cowboy boots the whole summer, so I didn't feel to bad :)

Oh I am loving the 3 year old style. There was a couple weeks at our house when not a day passed without a two year old wearing frog rain boots.

Ugh! I SO agree with you about The Bell Jar. Hated that one. I kept thinking, "I should like this! It's a classic! Maybe I'm too dumb to really get it."

Well, I liked The Bell Jar, but I read it back in college when I was dark and depressed myself. (Yes. More so than I am now.) In a way I think it's dated, so that might be part of the problem.
However, Plath wrote a loverly children's book called "The Bed Book" which your children will surely love. All kinds of cool flying beds and adventures.
Workout music to check out on itunes: The Crystal Method has some kind of Nike/running mix that I hear good things about, and I love Underworld. But then again, I got swept into the raveworld music scene for a few formative years. Gets you moving, though.

To funny - I can't believe you read the Bell Jar for fun. I did a report on Sylvia Plath in high school and hated that book. She was one crazy lady. -- you know she killed herself by shutting her head in a heated oven?!
