I'll be home for Christmas...(pending road conditions)

DesignHER Momma here to sign in and wish you a wonderful Christmas.

I'm excited to unplug this laptop so I can spend some quality time with the family over the next week (or two).

We're heading over the river and through the woods to grandmothers house (and by that I really mean piling in the SUV traveling ice-coated roads to the land of the great white north. Apparently grandma's igloo right now is buried under an avalanche of lake effect snow).

I plan on eating too much, staying up too late, playing in the snow, sleeping in, and generally trying to stay stress free. If I'm feeling super merry I just might try my first glass of eggnog!

I'll most likely be back to blogging sometime between now and 2009 to give you the dirt on how my holiday went down in the record books.

Wanna give me the best Christmas gift ever? Leave me a comment letting me know what you're most excited for this next week. Or, if that's too difficult, can you at least just say "hi" or "bah humbug"? whatever will work.

Love you all....stay warm and stay safe!

I'm looking forward to the fireplace and the cinnamon rolls and family time on Christmas.

I think this year is going to be extra special because our 2-year-old daughter is finally old enough to "celebrate" with us. She's already walking around the house saying "Merry Christmas!" excitedly.

We had an early Christmas here at our house last weekend so have already opened our gifts; I do look forward to Christmas day at our family's homes eating good food, especially the rum cake I'm going to bake! Have a great, safe trip up North!

Cannot wait to see my kids on Christmas morning, Midnight mass, great food (and too much of it!), being with my family that I love, and enjoying all the blessings in our lives. Merry Christmas!

All the stuff we've been doing this week- baking, crafting, wrapping, singing (to Johnny Mathis of course),watching Christmas classics, rushing out for one more stocking stuffer, helping a family less fortunate than we are. Those wonderful Christmas things. Now I can't wait for the kids to wake us after little sleep, so excited - then for way to much to eat & lazy in pajamas day or two around the house! I must say I'm glad it's only once a year!

I will be glad when Christmas is here and all of the preparations are over. I am exhausted! Never before have things been so crazy before Christmas. I am also looking forward to next week spending time with my girls - no work, no school.

Hope you have a great Christmas!

We are giving the kids a Wii for Christmas, when they think we just don't have the money, what with my dh being out of a job for so much. So they totally are not even expecting it. I am so excited, I know I won't sleep tonight!

I am looking forward to spending some time in our 74 degree weather Saturday. I'm afraid the girls are never going to enjoy their new snow boots from their Mimi. (My mother-in-law.)

Merry Christmas! :)

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! Thank you for your comment on my blog- I really appreciate it! Your blog is so cute & your girls are adorable! My favorite part of Christmas was watching my one-year-old open his gifts & love the Elmo from his daddy the most. :)
